While our Injected Performance / GTRMod.com Nissan GTR is taking a little vacation in Los Angeles, it is still finding time to show up at a meet or two. The Injected Performance / GTRMod.com Nissan GTR was on display for the annual SEMA Convention located in Las Vegas, NV earlier this month. Haltech decided to host our car in preparation for the upcoming Platninum ECU for the GTR. Below are some pictures courtesy of Autoblog:

The Injected Performance 2009 Nissan GTR left today to go out west for the SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV. The show is held from November 4th through November 7th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Stop by the Haltech Booth (Booth #20951) to check it out and say hi.

WHAT: A beneficiary cruise through the country side.
WHERE: We will meet at Cardinal Run Park On Parkers mill. And End at Shilito Park afterwards.
WHEN: Sunday, October 12th, at 2pm (the cruise begins at 3pm)
CAUSE: Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most common life-shortening, childhood-onset inherited diseases and in the United States, 1 in 3,900 children are born with CF. Most individuals with cystic fibrosis unfortunately die young: many in their 20s and 30s from lung failure. However, with the continuous introduction of many new treatments, the life expectancy of a person with CF is increasing to ages as high as 40 or 50. A lung transplant is often necessary as CF worsens later on in life. There is currently no cure for CF.

We here at Injected Performance have joined up with Drivelex.com and others in the local car community to help support "Cruise for a Cause", a beneficiary cruise through the country side. "Cruise for a Cause" was created to increase awareness and educate others about Cystic Fibrosis, as well as assist Amber Horsman in her fight against CF. This cruise gives us in the car community a chance to come together and help out one of our own. The Cruise is open to all who would like to join us, we only request a $20.00 donation. Each participant is encouraged to have their car sponsored for the event, i.e. have your employer, family and friends donate to the cause by adding to your $20.00 entry fee. The person who raises the most through sponsorships will win a $125.00 Gift Certificate donated by Injected Performance.

The Injected Performance Drag 350Z was able to grace the pages of November 2008's Turbo Magazine. Here is a little glimpse into the magazine, It shows the Injected Performance 350Z doing a nice big smoky burnout during Battle of the Imports (BOTI) at MIR in Maryland. . .

The Injected Performance 350Z and Bill Walls 4G63 powered Conquest made the trek up north to Columbus Ohio for the Import Face Off at National Trial Raceway. We showed up bright and early Sunday morning then proceeded to wait in line to get into the event. Then we arrived at tech inspections where we waited in line (and promptly missed the first qualifying pass of the event). Then we drove up into grid, where we again had the pleasure of waiting in line. When we finally had a chance to unleash the 350Z on Columbus. Due to the rules we were limited to running in the Outlaw class with cars half our weight, but Hal managed a very respectable 8.89 @ 160mph on his first pass. That time held up as the quickest qualifying time for the event. Unfortunately the event was cut short due to heavy rain, but we still had a pretty good time. The delay gave us a chance to sample some of the finest crock pot BBQ sandwiches in all of Ohio while we waited for the storm to pass. Here are some pictures from the event that I was able to snap off before the rain sent us home early.

We took the 350Z up to Louisville this past Friday for the 502 Underground 1/8th mile Shootout. The rules for the event were pretty simple, no time slips, race off of a flagger, single elimination, heads up, winner take all. Unfortunately we didn’t take away the prize money, but this event was real fun and a great chance for the Injected Performance crew to get some much needed experience running the 350Z in the 1/8th mile. We tried some different setups on the Z in an attempt to get some better 60 foot times out of her with some very promising success. We look forward to taking the 350Z up to Columbus, Ohio on August 24, for Import Face Off. We are very hopeful to see some personal bests out of the 350Z that day. Hope to see you all there. Some of the guys from Injected Performance took to trip down to Nashville this past weekend for Import Alliance. This year's Import Alliance had a Redline time Attack Event included in all the festivities. One of the guys took his camera and snapped off a few shots of some of the cars at the event. Everyone in the group had fun and made the trip down and back problem free, so all in all it was a success. Our camera guy seemed slightly Nissan biasis, but who can blame him.
