New airbox for the VQ35 Individual Throttle Body kit was released this weekend at PRI Performance Racing show in Orlando, FL. Final tweaking is still required to ensure a proper fit under the 350Z and G35 hood, but here is the closest thing they have to production. A few photos from Jenvey's ITB booth at the show:

You can tune with confidence using the new dual channel wideband AFR controller from Haltech. This is the premier wideband controller on the market and is very simple to install. Just four wires: power, ground, output to ecu, and dimmer if you desire. The Haltech wideband is a small and compact controller that supports two wideband sensors making for a clean and simple AFR install! Also, it is preset to output the same signal that the Haltech E8, E11v2, Sport 1000, and Sport 2000 come configured with.

New horsepower record at Injected Performance... For the lowest hp!
This weekened we put Hal's latest purchase, a 1993 Ford Festiva, on the dyno for an intense session. What we would normally call 'strapping it down' would be a lie, because no straps were required or used on this one. In factory form with 250,000 miles on the clock, it was just barely able to manage over 50whp on our Dyno Dynamics. Check out the dyno sheet below, 51whp!

While our Injected Performance / GTRMod.com Nissan GTR is taking a little vacation in Los Angeles, it is still finding time to show up at a meet or two. Today we received these pictures from its appearance at the 2008 Jtuned meet at Super Autobacs. Many noteworthy cars were in attendance, and we are glad that our GTR was able to be be among them. Haltech's new 'ECU Manager' software, first seen on the Platinum 350Z ems, is setting the bar for standalone tuning. This incredible software coupled with updated hardware (including USB connectivity and dual CAN processors) made way for the new Platinum line of Haltech ECUs. The Platinum Sport 1000 and Platinum Sport 2000 are complete and will be first to market, available in early 2009. Ultimately the E8 and E11 will be phased out as the Sport 1000 and 2000 do everything and more for the same cost. Following those will be the Platinum Pro with additional features like quad cam control and true dual drive by wire control.
The Platinum Sport 1000 flying lead kit will retail for $1346, with PNP kits available for EVO 1-8, Mazda RX7 FC32, Nissan 200SX S13-S15 (SR20DET) and more

The Injected Performance GTRMod.com R35 GTR is out in Los Angeles after a brief stay in Las Vegas for SEMA. Mackin Industries borrowed the GTR to test fit their newly released MXP Y Pipe for the GTR. This Y Pipe will soon be available for sale on our GTRMod.com store. Sound clips are below:
